Bears, Black and Whites and Buxton

Welcome to Isla’s wonderful gallery.

We have been lucky enough to have two walls at Isla’s lovely gallery in the Cavendish Arcade, Buxton.  This is the first time Tim and I have had a solo space of our own to fill.  The first pictures you will see are Tim’s wonderful black and white prints.  They are landscapes and I incredibly proud of his skill at creating atmosphere and presenting the magic of the land he photographs.

The other wall is taken up with original watercolours by me.  They are based on a need for spring in the midst of winter: a set of hibernation dreams.  I also have a number of felted pieces there too.

Isla’s lovely shop is on the frontage of the Cavendish Arcade in Buxton, just a stone’s throw from famous dome, now part of the University of Derby and near to the opera house.  The town is famous as a spa town, close to both white and low peak and well worth a visit.
